    Welcome to beginner wheel! This 5 week course is great for anyone interested in learning wheel thrown pottery with little or no experience. In this structured class you will learn the foundations of wheel throwing and come away with several functional pieces. *Minimum age for Wheel is 17.

  • All Levels Wheel Mondays 1:00-3:30

    Five consecutive 2.5 hour wheel throwing classes. Perfect for newbies or longtime artists looking to build their skills or make a new body of work. Package includes 25lbs of clay- shelf space- access to shop glaze- tool usage- all firings- table space during Friendly City Markets. Making something by hand releases all the feel good chemicals, making art together creates lasting bonds. Exercising your creative problem solving improves neural plasticity! Clay can literally make you a better person. Engage with your community in a way that gives back to you, too!

  • Beginner Wheel Tuesdays 5:30-8:00p

    This beginner wheel class will teach you the foundations of wheel throwing. Great for those with little or no experience who want to start learning wheel. From this course you'll come away with several functional pieces as well as a solid foundation for growing your wheel-thrown pottery skills. *Minimum age for Wheel is 17.

  • Single Hand-building Class

    Enjoy a hands-on, beginner-friendly pottery class designed to spark your creativity. In this two-hour session, you’ll choose from two guided project options and make your piece your own. Our instructor will lead you through the hand-building process in a relaxed and fun environment—no experience necessary. At the end of class, you can add a soft wash of color to enhance the details (we’ll take care of the firing and final glazing ). Your piece will be ready to pick up in 2 weeks! Bring a friend, or make a friend :)

  • Single Wheel Class

    This 1.5hr class will give you the full potters experience ((from pulling the clay out of the bag, picking your tools, to putting the finishing touches on)). You'll make a thing or two (1-2), pick your favorite glaze, and 2 weeks and 2 firings later you'll have your pieces! Making something by hand releases all the feel good chemicals, making art together creates lasting bonds. Exercising your creative problem solving improves neural plasticity!   • Underglaze Daze

    Come hang out and underglaze with us at The Stu ~after hours~ You’ll be painting from an underglaze pallet on your chosen piece of in-house made pottery ((no two pieces are the same, but they're all incredibly dope)). We've got stencils, and allll the colors. Current option(s) are: Bud Vases! First come first pick :) SECOND FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH ((6pm-9pm)) — BYOB, we have snacks and music, immaculate vibes, super chill.
